Women Empowerment

Conclusion:
India is a developing nation with a vast,diverse variety of cultures,
superstitions . It is a country with high casteism and dominant religious
beliefs. It has been 75 years of independence for India and it has progressed
rapidly on a global level.
Pre independence, Indian women were suppressed; were not allowed to
express their views on political matters. Young girls were considered as a
curse for their parents, the reason being: a high dominance for men in the
society and the physical well being of women as they were assumed to be
relatively weak. Still, many young women emerged to be great leaders and
played a pivotal role in the indian independence, the indian development
and the Indian culture. They played an important role in the indian
independence
Since then, young women, girls and young daughters take a stance and revolt
against injustice.
Women these days are empowered to become independent. The government
is bringing up various schemes for the welfare of girl child. Women are more
dominant in higher positions and are bringing a significant change in the
society.But, The women in rural areas are still under the domination of their
parents, husband , in-laws etc. Statistics also showcase a huge rise in physical
abuse of women. Standing in high tides, Indian women still manage to
handle and tolerate each and everything without any fuss. With this we
conclude our statement by stating that: “Women in our country are on the
verge of being treated in a similar manner as men.
