Conclusion

After gathering opinions from our peers and people from the society, we have come to a
conclusion that the majority of us believe in the importance of celebrations. Just like we
cherish special days like birthdays and anniversaries regardless of our religion, we celebrate
a few festivals likewise. Nothing brings people together like celebrating festivals do. They
play a significant role in nation building; bringing people from every religious, economic and
social background together. These celebrations connect each and every tradition from all
cultures together to make us one big community - which is mankind. Be it Muslims, Sikhs or
Hindus, we are always human at the end of the day.

Times have changed, but not values. Today you wouldn’t be surprised to find people
focusing more on their careers rather than spending time with their families. The change in
generations is the cause of all this. The good old ways of celebrating festivals were far better
than present times. Nowadays children aren’t able to spend time with their grandparents due
to the age gap. These festivities bring all generations together to have a good time and be
down to earth. Regardless of all this, celebrations keep the social spirits and religious
practices alive through enjoyable gathering.

To sum up, celebrations are not to be missed out as they bring us together in a bond of love,
irrespective of race and religion. We believe that festivals, like life, are gifts that need to be
celebrated.
