Brake Re-adjustment

If the minimum thickness could not be remained, the brake

disc has to berenewed.

khe hở giữa the armature plate and the magnetic body bằng

13. Connect the cable for the magnetic body with the flat
Plug.

14.Put on fan cover and tighten it with the fastening screws.

15.Screw in the bolt of manual release (70).

16.Connect drive.

17.Carry out function test.

IX. Gear Wearing Tolerance

For the safety and proper mesh of the drive system ----- rack
and pinion, have to be maintained at a minimum working size.
The wearing tolerances are defined as follow.

Wearing Tolerance Of Pinion (M8)

Wearing Tolerance Of Rack (M8)

X. Maintenance and Regular Check

Monthly periodic maintenance is recommended to ensure the

elevator being kept in safe working order and longer service life.
Items are listed as followings required to carry out every month
(or shorter, subject to actual environmental condition) unless
otherwise specified.

For the reason of safety, before carrying out the maintenance

work, make sure the lift isisolated from landing controls. And
notice(s) shall be hoisted to indicate maintenanceworks in
progress so as to remind other passengers not to attempt to
operate the elevator.

1. Isolate and suspend the lift service to all other personnel.

Turn the selective switch to ‘SER’ at Cage Top Control
Panel, turn off the power if required for safety.

2. Every month, check all E&M interlocks for landing doors

and cage door. When the car is not at the landing level, the
landing door and cage door shall not be able to open. In case
any of car/landing doors is open, the car shall not be able to
run.

3. Check the wearing condition for drive pinion. If the given

tolerance (refer to page 44) could not be retained, change a
new one instead. In case of abnormal wear existing, earlier
replacement may be needed according to engineering
practice.

4. Check the worn condition for guide rollers. If the maximum

tolerance (refer to page 10) could not be retained, substitute
with new. Check if there is any noise made by the bearing.
Replace the guide roller when the bearing fails.
5. Guide rollers of cage to be checked and adjusted as necessary
to hold drive pinion and safety gear in mesh (refer to page 9
for detailed figures).

6. Check the brake disc of motor if it is still maintained

minimum size 14mm thick. Check and adjust the interferric
gap (air gap) whenever necessary (refer to page 37 & 38).

7. Oil level of gear box to be checked, and oil changed as

lubrication schedule. And for the reason of safety, the drive
unit shall undergo overhaul at every 3-year (see page 33 for
detail).

8. Check mast rail, rack and tie bolts within a period of 6

months (fastening torque refer to page 4).

9. Within a period of 30 days check the cable pulley & guide

rollers of cable trolley, ensure it is in smooth motion.

10. Check the function of all limit switches within a period of 30

days to make sure they are not damaged by water/vapor, or
malfunctioned by jamming.

11. Functional check for all emergency stop buttons within a

period of 30 days.

12. Functional check for alarm system within a period of 30

days.

13. Check the ventilation fan work properly at car top panel
within a period of 15 days.

14. Examine trailing cable for wear and damage within a period
of 30 days.

15. Check cable guide, grease through the greasing nozzles

within a period of 30 days.

16. Grease the cable trolley guide plates within a period of 30

days (refer to page 13~14).

17. Check and ensure at every inspection the Manual Lowering

Device is functional.
18. Within a period of 30 days, the Safety Device to be checked
for (refer to chapter V):
a) Brake disc & brake pads should be cleaned.
b) Make sure striker pin of disc is located in “V” part of
star wheel.
c) Limit switch lever in normal (horizontal) position
NOTE: This unit shall be renewed or undergo thorough
overhaul by the OEM after 4 years of commercial
operation.

19. Carry out drop test with full load at a period not longer than
one year. And if the safety device has been under repaired or
replacement, a drop test with full load shall be conducted
immediately.

20. Within a period of 30 days (or shorter due to the actual

working environment), grease guide rails, guide rollers and
drive pinion by Lubrication Engineers grease LE185 (see
lubrication table on page 48) or equivalent.

21. Trong khoảng chu kỳ 30 ngày,Within a period of 30 days,

grease door top & bottom tracks and, check the condition of
top rollers and bottom guides for wear, replace them if
necessary.

22. Check the insulation for cable & wire at a period of 12

months.

23. Check the insulation for main control panel at a period of 12

months.

24. Check the insulation for motor at a period of 12 months.

25. Drop test is recommended to carry out at the 6 TH month for

empty load and; at 12THmonth for full loaded every year.
Refer to chapter V (page 29~30) for detailed procedures.
