 Appreciate the importance of knowing the types of intentional injury; and
 Perform a role play of a chosen type of intentional injury.

B. Review:
Associate the following terms to pictures of Unintentional Injuries to recall the previous
lesson on the previous quarter.
1. Fracture
2. Dislocation
3. Food Poisoning
4. Choking
5. Burn

C. Motivation: “Picture-Analysis”
Directions: Observe and analyze each picture guided with the jumbled letters. Arrange
them to reveal the correct answer.

 Let the students guess a specific word with the theme of the photos presented on
each item.

1. What did you observe in the photos presented on each item?
2. Why do you think people experiencing such violence or types of intentional
injuries?
3. Were you able to guess all types of injuries?

ABSTRACTION:
 The teacher will present a short video clip on how to avoid or prevent any of the
types of intentional injuries.
 The students will watch and observe for the question and answer:
Guide Questions:
1. What did you observe on the video clip?
2. How can you avoid such dangerous activity/violence?

APPLICATION: “Role Playing”


 Choose one type from the 5 examples of intentional injuries.
 With your family member (served as group) assign each one of them a particular
role to act out.
 On your play, present clearly how the type of injury is formed and your way of
avoiding it.
 Give them 10 minutes to finish the activity.
 Rate their performance with the following criterion:
 Relevance to the topic/type 10 points
 Stage Presence 5 points
 Discipline 5 points
