Narayana Swamy B is the Founder of Dheenoddhara Trust For The Disabled,
back in 2014, he lost his eyes sight in an accident. Despite losing his sight,
he did not lose his hopes. To help other people like him, in 2017 he started
social work. Later in 2018 registered The Dheenoddhara Trust For The
Disabled along with M. Shankara, as General Secretary.

Distributing Walking Sticks:

There are many blind people with unemployment and poor, who are not
able to purchase new walking sticks. For them, a walking stick is the
most important and useful friend who can guide them to walk without
other’s help. We found their need and supported them by providing
walking sticks.

Distributing School Bags, Notebooks & Stationery Items For

Children:

Visually-challenged & physically-challenged couple’s children usually

find difficult to purchase educational – stationery items. We found their
needs and provided children with school bags, notebooks, pens,
pencils, etc to encourage their education.

We distributed notebooks for poor college girls and Talking Laptops for
visually challenged college students to encourage their college
education further.

Encouraging Visually Challenged Singers:

We used to arrange Orchestra programs and online state-level singing

competitions to support and encourage the singing talents of visually
challenged people. This can be a better career opportunity for them to
grow up further in the singing field.

Distributing Grocery Kits:

We used to find poor/unemployed visually challenged families and

distribute grocery kits.

We used to find people who cannot purchase equipment themselves,

distributed essential equipment for physically challenged people, and
helped them to lead an independent life.

Encouraging Visually Challenged People In Sports (Chess

Competition):

We used to encourage visually challenged people in the field of sports

by conducting state-level chess competitions along with cash prizes,
participation certificates, and trophies to attendees.
