Solano Bears reign supreme against the Bagabag Tigers, with the score
of 25-20,22-25,26-24, during the NV Cuaresma Volleball Cup
Championship Round held at Provincial Capitol, March 6, 2022 (8:00

The stop-spike combination of Ferdie Pojas and Rudy Guam made the
bears finish the first round at 25-20. The Bears won in the first set. They
were very handsome in their blue uniforms.
The Tigers were challenged and started playing with high speed and
good placing. The quick moves of the Tiger Trio: June Bacsa, Rommel
Baduy, and Rogel Rastian, made them edge out the early winners at 22-
25.
The Bears regained their moment. They equaled the energy of the Tiger
Trio and posted a two-to-lead finish. The booming service by Pojas
ended up the final set at 26-24.
The day was punctuated by a passing drizzle brought by the tail of
typhoon Frank it became hot when the audience cheered up their own
smashers.

“We had a tough time preparing for this game. Patience made it.” Pojas
said in an interview.
“The Bears got good training. They deserve the crown.” Tiger coach
Vincent Reyes said.
