 Recall material learnt over the past weeks through guided discussion in a revision type
setting.

SPECIFIC OBJECTIVES:
Students should be able to:
 State what is a solid in their own words
 Identify and name the different solids
 Give the name of a solid by looking at the net only
 State the parts of a solid
 Define face, vertices and edges
 Complete a table with faces, vertices and edges using Euler’s formula
 State what is transformation
 Identify the types of transformation from a cartridge paper

TEACHING/LEARNING ACTIVITY:
Students will be engaged in a teacher guided discussion to see how much they have garnered
over the past four or five weeks while they were being taught by the practicing teacher. Class
will take the form of forum style discussion. Different questions will be asked to help guide
students to accurately recall what they have learnt and to spark discussions so that any
misconceptions that are present can be cleared up and corrected.
Students who participate well and answer questions correctly will be awarded.
