1) Life Map activity: -
In this activity, we were asked to divide ourselves in groups of 5 or 6 members and were asked to
share our life cycle with other members of the group. Initially few members of my group were
reluctant to share their life with unknown people but once we started the talk their hesitation slowly
went away and they also shared their life cycle with us.
For me the major take aways from this activity are once you are in group setting like this and you start
feeling comfortable, it helps you to become a good team player and also it helps in better
understanding of other people’s thoughts. A second important takeaway is that I no longer believe that
only I have problems in my life and that everyone else is living a trouble-free existence. But after
listening to other people, I realised that everyone is in the same boat, and everyone has problems in
their life, might be small problems if compared with mine but still we can’t say that everyone has a
perfect life.
This experience not only improved my capacity for empathy, but also the way I viewed my own life
and the lives of those around me.
2) The Big five personality model: -
The big Five model represents five major personality traits, which are Conscientiousness,
Agreeableness, Neuroticism, Openness and Extraversion/Extroversion.
My Scores: -
1) Conscientiousness- 4.11
2) Agreeableness- 4
3) Neuroticism- 1.62
4) Openness- 3.6
5) Extraversion- 3.5

My scores are ranging between High to medium strata, I have scored 4.11 in Conscientiousness
which lies in high range so I think there are areas on which I should work upon like minimize the
scope of procrastination and should stick to deadlines so that I can complete assigned tasks within
given window.
In Agreeableness my score is 4 which is in high range, therefore not much has to be required in this
aspect of my personality but there is always a room for improvement, I believe that I should work
upon my perception towards other people, it will me to get better understanding of what they think.
In Neuroticism I scored a low score of 1.62, which is a good sign, people with high score in
neuroticism, generally experience a lot of stress, worries a lot and get upset easily. Since my score is
in good range I do not need to work upon this aspect.
In Openness and Extraversion, I scored in medium range and I think I need to work upon my
interpersonal skills and in order to be more sociable, I should try to initiate the conversation with my
classmates or neighbours with whom I rarely talk. Moreover, by taking on internships that require
more of communication & interpersonal skills, I will be able to become extrovert person.

3) Decision Style Inventory Form: -

This exercise can help you understand how you make decisions. The degree of preparation, the extent
to which people rely on information and structure, and the influences on those decision-making
patterns are frequently influenced by the style people prefer to use. Decision Style is classified into
four broad categories.
In this exercise, there were 20 questions & we were asked to rate the four options individually
such that no option is rated in same way. Then later on, we calculated the total of each column.
High
Analytical Conceptual

Low Directive Behavioural

Rational
Intuitive

Nevertheless, I looked at this situation as a learning opportunity and something I could improve upon.
My analytical skills, behavioural skills, conceptual skills, and directive nature made up the four broad
classifications of my self-test. The first two were placed in the category of being extremely dominant,
while the later ones were placed in the category of being the least proffered.
1. My analytical ability scored a perfect 100, making it a dominant trait. Before offering a solution, I
often analyse the situation.
2. The behavioural aspect is a dominant trait in my decision-making processes with a score of 62.
3. My least preferred decision-making style is conceptual, as evidenced by my low score of 24.
4. I use the directive leadership style as a backup, as evidenced by my score of 68.
4) Emotional Intelligence Questionnaire
In this exercise, questionnaire was to be answered with 50 questions and result tells us about the
various competences of emotional intelligence. These competences include: Self Awareness,
Managing Emotions, Motivating Oneself, Empathy & Social skill. My scores are as follows: -
 Managing Emotions- 40
 Self-Awareness- 40
 Motivating oneself- 39
 Empathy-44
 Social Skills-42
I found that my score is highest in empathy that is 44 and I have scored lowest in motivating oneself
that is 39, I think that I should change my own perception towards me and should keep myself more
self-motivated, and the only way to do this is keep my morale up and develop certain soft skill which
will help in gaining more self-confidence.
5) FIRO-B Assessment
The Fundamental Interpersonal Relations Orientation-Behaviour, or FIRO-B Test for short, tells us a
score that is used to estimate how comfortable a person is with a specific behaviour. It includes three
main areas: Inclusion, Control & Affection. My respective scores for each area are:
Inclusion Control Affection Total
Expressed 6 8 7 21
Wanted 1 5 1 7
Total 7 13 8 28

My score is in the Medium-High range, so I tend to interact with people from all walks of life. But I
still need to work on myself. Instead of trying to control others, I need to listen to them more.
Everyone contributes original and distinctive ideas to the discussion that may be helpful. I also
believe that there are a lot of areas where there is scope of improvement like social skills, interactions
with others, etc.
