I. TITLE: LAC Session on Zip Grade

II. RATIONALE/BACKGROUND:

Pursuant to DepEd Order No. 034, s. 2022 titled School Calendar of Activities
for School Year 2022-2023, the five-day midyear break (February 6-10, 2023) shall
be spent for the conduct of Midyear Performance Review and Evaluation and the
School-Based INSET. The first two days shall be spent by evaluating the school’s
progress in implementing it’s educational programs, projects and activities, as well
as reviewing the performance of teachers and school staff addressing concerns
cooperatively. The last three days shall be devoted to conducting the school-based
INSET activities for teachers’ continuing professional development and preparing
their Instructional Materials.

III. DESCRIPTION OF THE ACTIVITY:

The In-Service Training is essential for the teachers’ continuing professional

development in the maintenance and in sustaining their capacity to continue to
provide quality teaching and learning in the classroom. It allows teachers to acquire
professional goals for the success of the school that comes Basic Action Research,
Revisiting the Reading Pedagogies, Midyear Performance Review and Evaluation,
Guidelines on the Implementation of RPMS and Preparation of Instructional
Materials.

IV. OBJECTIVES:
1. To retrain current DepEd teachers to meet the content and performance
standards of the K-12 curriculum.
2. Preparing quality instructional materials
