Grammar:

- Asking about time: ‫السؤال عن الوقت‬

- “what’s the time?” ‫كم الساعة؟‬
- “it’s seven o’clock”. ‫إنها الساعة السابعة‬
- Talking about daily routine using time: ‫التحدث عن‬
‫الروتين اليومي باستخدام الوقت‬
- “he gets up at 6 o’clock” ‫إنه يستيقظ في الساعة السادسة‬
- “she goes to school at 7 o’clock” ‫إنها تذهب إلى المدرسة‬

- Talking about times of the day: ‫التحدث عن أوقات اليوم‬

Answering wh- questions (what ‫ – ماذا‬when ‫ – متى‬where ‫) أين‬

- What do you do in the morning? ‫ماذا تفعل صبا ًحا؟‬
I have my breakfast ‫أتناول فطوري‬

- When do you get up? ‫متى تستيقظ؟‬

I get up at 6 o’clock ‫استيقظ في الساعة السادسة‬

- Where do you go in the afternoon? ‫أين تذهب في فترة الظهيرة؟‬

I go home in the afternoon. ‫أذهب إلى المنزل في الظهر‬

We use “what” to ask about information ‫نستخدم "ماذا" للسؤال‬

We use “when” to ask about day and time ‫نستخدم "متى" للسؤال‬

We use “where” to ask about the place ‫نستخدم "أين" للسؤال عن‬

- Write a letter to your friend telling them about your

name, age, where are you from, which grade and school
are you in, and about your daily routine using times of
the day.

My name is Ahmed, I am 8 years old. I am from Bahrain. I am
in Huteen school, in class 3. I get up at 6 o’clock in the
morning, I have breakfast at 6:30 and go to school. I go home
at 12:35 in the afternoon and I have dinner in the evening. I
go to bed at 9 o’clock at night.
