SCHOOL CLINIC INCOME-GENERATING PROJECT

I. Introduction
Providing access to drinking water gives students a healthy alternative to sugar-sweetened
beverages. It helps to increase students’ overall water consumption, maintain hydration, and reduce
energy intake if substituted for sugar-sweetened beverages. Adequate hydration also may improve
cognitive function in children and adolescents.

The objectives of this project are the following:

a. Provide safe drinking water to students and teachers.

b. Prevent school children from illnesses due to unsafe drinking water at school.

II. Proponent Description

The School Clinic in Charge of Tangub City National High School for this year 2022-2023 is the
proponent of this project entitled, “Water Vendo”, through the help of the School Maintenance Head, Mr.
Stewart E Hamac.

III. Project Description

The School Clinic of Tangub City National High School through the effort of the School Nurse/WinS
Coordinator for this school year 2022-2023 will launch an income-generating project which aims to provide
safe drinking water to learners and teachers and prevent them from getting sick out from drinking unsafe
water supply. The proponent will collect and record the coins every 2 weeks and the school maintenance head
as the auditor of the project.

IV. Monitoring and Evaluation

The monitoring and evaluation will be administered by the School Maintenance Head or School
Treasurer Mrs. Alma B. Pondoc and by the project proponent. The project will start on November 22, 2022, of
the school year 2022-2023.

V. Proposed Project

The 20% of the profit from the income-generating project will use for the construction of 2 bed frame.

VI. Suggested Scheme

A. Financial and narrative reports will be submitted by the proponent at the end of the month.
B. Evaluation Report will be submitted by the proponent at the end of the school year.
