Earthworks
1.1 Preparation of Tools and Materials.
 Heavy equipment like Backhoe loader, Road Roller, and Dumb Trunk,etc.
1.2 Excavation works up desired levels and slopes as per drawing.
 Filling and compaction of sub base course materials ,0.30m deep(0.15m
compacted fill/layer)(2 layers).
 Filling and compaction of base course materials,0.15m deep of compacted soil.
 Using a Road Roller with capacity of 5 tons for compaction.
1.3 Compaction of sub-grade up to its desired strength.
1.4 Delivery, spreading and compaction of base coarse materials up to 100 Percent
MDD.
1.5 Delivery, spreading and compaction of base coarse materials up its desired slopes
and levels.
1.6 Disposal of excavated materials outside NPI compound.
 Using a Backhoe loader with breaker . (bucket capacity of 0.25 cubic and breaker
diameter of 2 inches.)

2. Concreting Works
2.1 Preparation of Tools and Materials.
 Concrete Cutter,Demolision hammer, Electric Grinder,Generator set, and etc.
2.2 Installation of dowel to old concrete.
 25mm x 0.60m (grade 40) dowel bars @ 500mm on centre with concrete epoxy.
2.3 Installation and levelling of forms.
 Using a steel forms.
2.4 Pouring of concrete.
 Ready Mix Concrete (4500 psi @ 7 days), 0.30m thick.
 Using a Holcim Brand cement.
2.5 Curing of pavement.
 Using a Water Curing Method (WCM) with burlap on top of the pavement for 7
days.
 Curing of sample is put in curing pond or drum and away in disturbance.
2.6 Cutting of pavement joints for the pouring of asphalt joint filler.
 24 hours for the time required needed for cutting of the construction joints.

3. Demobilization
3.1 Dismantling of enclosures.
3.2 Pull-out of all tools and equipment.
3.3 Mobilize to the next designated area.
3.4 Repeat the same sequence until completion.
