What Pinoy English expressions from this video are familiar to

you? Give at least 5.

The Pinoy English expressions from this video that i am familiar with are
"Mauna na ako" in Pinoy English, "I'll go ahead", ''Sandali'' in Pinoy English
"For a while", "Dadaan ako" in Pinoy English "I'll pass by", "Wow, ang
labo" in Pinoy English "Wow, so blurred" and lastly the " Isindi o patayin
ang ilaw" in Pinoy English "Open or close the light".

In what instances have you used them? Recall these situations.

I think used those Pinoy English expression when i am talking to my

nephew because his first language is english so i tried to speak to him english
as much as possible even though it's hard for me and im not that fluent in
that language like for example, i ordered him to "close the light" which is a
pinoy english expression.
Comment on the main point of Bustos’s video about how we have
different ways of using English based our contexts.

When i watch the video of Mikey Bustos about the uniqueness of

what he calls “Pinoy English” i realized that we, filipinos are very
lucky because we are able to speak or understand the english language
even though our english speaking way is a little bit different to the
standard english, i think what's improtant is we Pinoy's understand
each other and we are able to comfortably talk in our speaking way.
