Re: Letter of Offer
I am pleased to confirm the following offer of employment with ISS Facility Services (WILTARI
PTY LIMITED) (“the Company”) under the following conditions:
1. Position
Your appointment will be as a Casual Cleaner - MCG - CAS Grade/Level 1.The ISS Facility
Services and United Voice Cleaning Enterprise Agreement 2017 (“your Industrial
Instrument”) will apply to your employment.
2. Commencement Date
Your date of commencement is 15 February 2023.
3. Location
You will be employed at Melbourne Cricket Ground. The Company operates in the
contracting industry and your ongoing employment will depend on the Company
continuing to hold the contract(s) at the site(s) to which you are assigned. If the contract(s)
ceases for any reason we will attempt to find you alternate work at another site(s),
however, this is not always possible and your employment may terminate if further work
is not available.
4. Rates of Pay And Other Monetary Entitlements
Your rate of pay will be the ordinary rate applicable to the classification in which you are
engaged. Your rate of pay will be adjusted in accordance with the provisions of your
Industrial Instrument. You will also be paid all relevant allowances, shift/weekend penalties
and overtime as provided for by your Industrial Instrument.
5. Hours of Work
Your ordinary hours of work will be on an intermittent and irregular basis or for the
purposes of replacing a permanent employee who is rostered off or otherwise absent from
work.
6. Duties
Your typical duties will be as outlined in your Position Description (enclosed). You may
also be required to perform a range of tasks that are outside your main list of duties, but
are within the limits of your skill, competency and training, or, are incidental and peripheral
to your main duties, provided that this will not result in deskilling.
7. Conditions of Employment
Your conditions of employment are those as described in your Industrial Instrument and
the National Employment Standards (NES). A copy of the NES and your Industrial
Instrument is available in the Manager's office or posted on the ISS notice board at your
worksite/s (where one is available).
As part of your employment you accept there may be variations to your:
• work location (transfer within the site or from one site to another site;
• working hours;
• duties and classification.
These changes will be made in conjunction with the relevant provisions of your Industrial
Instrument (if any).
It is a condition of your employment with ISS that you have a smart phone device with
you at all times during your working hours, which you may be required to use for work
related purposes, including time and attendance records, task management, accessing
your roster and pay slips, applying for leave, etc.

8. Policies and Procedures


It is a requirement of your employment that the Company’s Values, Code of Conduct,
Policies and Procedures (as varied from time to time) are appropriately adhered to.
Where you work on a client site, you may be required to comply with the client’s policies.
If this is the case the Company will provide you with a copy of the policy(s). Where there
is any inconsistency between a required client policy and Company policy, the client’s
policy will apply.
Any breach of the Company’s Values, Code of Conduct or the Company’s and/or client
policies and procedures may lead to disciplinary action up to and including termination of
employment.
The Company’s Values, Code of Conduct and Policies and any clients’ policies do not
form part of your contract of employment.
9. Confidential Information
You must not disclose, and must keep confidential, any Confidential Information of which
you become aware through the performance of your work. “Confidential Information”
includes all information relating to the business or operational interests of the Company,
methodology and affairs of the Company, client, financial information, patient medical
records and information or anything else we notify you as being confidential. Any
unapproved disclosure of Confidential Information is considered a serious breach of your
employment contract and may result in you being subject to disciplinary action.
10. Fitness for Work
Whilst on duty, smoking, or the consumption of alcohol or any other substance which may
affect your work performance is prohibited. If you are found to be under the influence of,
or in possession of, alcohol or non-prescribed or illicit drugs whilst at work, you may be
subject to disciplinary action.
11. Conduct
The Company is bound by contractual obligations with its clients. This generally includes
the ability for clients to require the removal of employees from the site for unsatisfactory
performance or behaviour. These situations may also result in disciplinary action. Where
the disciplinary action does not result in termination, relocation may be offered. In the
event that no suitable relocation is available, removal from site by a client may result in
termination of employment.
12. Return of Property
Upon termination of employment for any reason, you must return immediately any property
belonging to the Company. Any outstanding equipment, costs or moneys owed by you to
the Company will be deducted from the final payment of moneys made to you by the
Company.
13. Reporting
In performing your duties you will be responsible to and will report to the On-Site
Supervisor or relevant Manager. You must comply with all reasonable and lawful
instructions.
14. Workplace Health and Safety
You will be expected to maintain, follow and promote safe work practices and comply with
Workplace Health, Safety and Environment Policies and relevant legislation. Failure to
adhere to the Company’s or a client’s Workplace Health, Safety and Environment Policies
or relevant legislation may result in disciplinary action including termination of
employment.
15. Disclosure of Information
You declare by way of your application for this position that all information provided by you
prior to engagement is accurate and complete. You are required to disclose all pre-existing
injuries, conditions and diseases of which you are aware and which you could be expected
to foresee may be affected by the nature of your proposed employment. Failure by you to
disclose any relevant or factual information on engagement may result in you being subject
to disciplinary action and may affect any future workers compensation claim.
16. Fair Work Information Statement
Please find attached a copy of the Fair Work Information Statement which the Company
is required to provide to all new employees in accordance with the Fair Work Act 2009.

Your offer of employment is based upon the terms and conditions of the Award or relevant
Enterprise Agreement and as detailed in this letter of offer. Non-compliance with any of these
terms, conditions or duties may result in disciplinary action and/or termination of employment
as appropriate.
Your employment with the Company may be subject to you passing a security clearance and
a medical examination/functional capacity assessment.
