The Competent Authority has accepted your offered rates in connection


with the subject work. The total cost of the work at the accepted rates works
out to Rs. 5371257.14 (Rupees Fifty-Three Lakh Seventy-One Thousand Two
Hundred And Fifty-Seven Rupees And Fourteen Paise Only)

A sum of Rs.158200 deposited as Earnest Money vide IREPS reference


ID PE11716162959 has been retained towards initial Security Money for due
and faithful fulfillment of the contract, and the balance Security Money will
be recovered from the progressive bills @ 6 % of the bill amount till it
reaches 5 % of the contract value in terms of clause 5 of Special Conditions of
Contract-General (Ch-II).

You are requested to submit Performance Guarantee in the form as given


in Clause 6 of Special Conditions of Contract-General (Ch-II) equivalent to 3
% of the contract value amounting to Rs. 161137.71 (Rupees One Lakh Sixty-
One Thousand One Hundred And Thirty-Seven Rupees And Seventy-One
Paise Only) within 21 days from the date of issue of Letter of Acceptance,
valid up to stipulated date of completion plus 60 days so that contract
agreement can be executed. However, a penal interest @ 12% per annum shall
be charged for the delay beyond 21 (twenty-one) days i.e. from 22nd day after
the date of issue of LOA. In case, the contractor fails to submit the requisite
PG even after 60 days from the date of issue of LOA, the contract is liable to
be terminated. The failed Contractor shall be debarred from participating in
re-tender for that work.

The entire work shall be completed within 12 month from the date of
issue of Letter of Acceptance.

Performance Guarantee: You are requested to please submit the Performance


Guarantee (as detailed prescribed in the Special Conditions of Contract-
General) of the contract value i.e. Rs. 161137.71 (One Lakh Sixty-One
Thousand One Hundred And Thirty-Seven Rupees And Seventy-One Paise
Only) to be drawn in favour of F.A. & C.A.O./Eastern Railway/Kolkata
before signing of the agreement of the contract.

GST: Goods and Services Tax has been introduced w.e.f. 01.07.2017. So, tax
component will be dealt as per notification of Govt. of India, as applicable.

Execution nof work: You are requested to contact AEN/Rampurhat &


SSE/PW/RPH to start the work accordingly within 15 days.

Labour Act: You should abide by and comply with the provision of the
Contract Labour (Regulations and Abolition) Act, 1976 and Contract Labour
(Regulations and Abolition) Central Rules, 1971.

IT/Salex Tax: The payment is subject to deduction of Income Tax with


surcharge, as applicable and work contract Sales Tax (W.B./Jharkhand) as per
extant rules and submission of current and valid Income Tax Certificate and
Sales Tax Certificate.

Binding Contract: : Until the formal agreement is executed, this acceptance of


tender shall constitute a binding contract between you and Railways.

07 (seven) days from the date of receipt of LOA.
