Dear Mrs. Morrill,

I was excited to learn of Oshkosh West High School Library's open Library Technician position.
Currently, I'm a library student, working toward my degree and looking for ways to put my new
knowledge and skills to use in a work environment. My Library Science education combined
with previous work experience has given me a great foundation of knowledge and skills. I learn
new technologies quickly and apply those abilities to improve the work I do. Additionally, I'm
good at cataloging and shelving, sorting mail, and collaborating with team members.

I have a resourceful approach to problem-solving, tackling challenges head-on, and considering

obstacles in learning experiences. I'm a people person with high energy and a lot of ambition. I
would be honored to join your team.

You may notice a gap in my employment while reviewing my resume. During this period, I
elected to take a leave from the workforce in order to go back to school. The time that I was able
to commit to my education has been invaluable to my professional growth, and I am eager to
re-enter the professional sphere and apply my newfound qualifications and knowledge to the job.
