systems; how these feedback mechanisms help the organism maintain
homeostasis to reproduce and survive
B. Performance Standards The learners should be able to construct a poem discussing healthful
habits that promote proper functioning of the reproductive, endocrine,
and nervous systems; compose an oath of responsibility on the proper
care of the reproductive, endocrine and reproductive systems; interview
families about the importance of family planning through video
presentation.

 The teacher will show baby pictures of famous Filipino celebrity
 Student will tell who is this famous celebrity based on the baby
pictures that somehow resembles to their answer.
Guide Question:
1. How did you recognize the picture?
2. What are some changes when they grow old?
3. Why do these changes happen?
Group activity: Growing up Goals
 Students will be divided into 2 groups; the male group and
the female group
 They will be provided with a common template to give their
answers
 The female group will identify the different changes they
undergo when they are growing up
 The male group on the other hand will identify the changes
on their end they will be given 10 mins to do this
Based on the answer in the activity,
1. Identify the different hormones involved in the development of the male
and female secondary sex characteristics.
Powerpoint on the different Hormones involved in male and female
reproductive system
 The teacher will show a chart of the different hormones and their function.
Class Debate
The teacher will divide the class into two and let the students have a
debate about, “Do you agree that a couple will have sexual intercourse
even the female is pregnant?” S7A1. Apply a decision-making model to
safer sex choices, including abstinence and condoms.
