DAY 1
10-MINUTE MORNING YOGA
FOR BEGINNERS

This morning I really don't know what exercise

I should do, but after thinking for a few minutes, I decided to try
yoga because I think it is good for me since it increases flexibility. Also, I consider my health condition because I
have eczema in my left foot, so it will not be a burden for me and I can still do this exercise; my eczema is not

that Moodfor now. But, before I engage myself in yoga, I change Notes my clothes and get a mat. I was sleepy, so to
wake me up, I jogged and stretched my body for 2 minutes as my warm-up. After the warm-up, I searched for
some yoga exercises. Since I am a beginner, I chose the 10-minute morning yoga for beginners on YouTube.
Upon doing this yoga, I can feel that my body is relaxing and that it is calming my mind. This yoga exercise is
not that hard to do, which I am thankful for. After the yoga exercise, I grabbed my bottle to drink water and sat
for 2 minutes on the mat for my cooldown because I don't know if the cooldown is already in the yoga exercise I
did.
DAY 2
GENTLE SEATED YOGA FOR

I didn't start my yoga exercise in the morning. Unfortunately, my eczema got worse, my left foot
started to swell, and I got blisters. However, this doesn't stop me from continuing my yoga

exercises. I planned to do my yoga exercise in the evening soNotes

sleep. I started my warm-up at 5:50 p.m. I started feeling heavy due to the effects of my eczema.
I found my mat to start. During the yoga exercise, I can feel that my body is stretching because of
the steps in the yoga. The soothing voice of the yoga instructor put my mind at ease and helped
me relax my body. After the yoga, I feel lighter compared to how I was feeling earlier. As for my
cool down, I just sit for a few minutes, breathe in and out, and drink water.

After 2 days of rest, my eczema is slowly healing, so I try again to do my yoga exercise. But, before the
yoga, I took a bath and changed into an appropriate outfit. I laid out the mat, and I started doing my 4-

minute warm-up. I chose to do 25 minutes of yoga with Savasana as my cooldown. While I was doing
the yoga, I felt relaxed and relieved from the stress I had because of my eczema. This thing stresses me
out; it hinders my ability to move freely, like trying to jump. I am just thankful that I don't need to jump
while doing this yoga. The yoga instructor has a gentle voice, and I love how she teaches yoga poses.
With that, I enjoyed it, and I was close to falling asleep because of the relaxation it brought me. After the
yoga session, I drank some water. Also, I feel like I will sleep early tonight .
DAY 6

I decided to do my yoga exercise in the evening so it could help me go to sleep early. After our
synchronous class, I prepared the mat so I could start my warm-up. I do the 4-minute warm-up

NOTES again. I challenged myself to do the 25-minute full-body stretch—mindful movement yoga. I'm
glad that after the yoga exercise, there was no injury. During yoga, I can feel the stretch in my
legs and thighs, as well as the sweat coming down my face. I can now do the seated toe touch
stretch, whereas before I struggled to touch my toes. Yoga makes me happy because of the
little accomplishment I get. After that, I just drank water and remained seated on my mat. This
time, all I want is sleep.
DAY 7
25-MINUTE EVENING
YOGA RITUAL

This day, I started my yoga exercise at 6 in the evening. I took a bath and wore a t-shirt and
pants for my yoga. I also prepared the mat so I could start with my 5-minute warm-up. The

NOTES yoga exercise I do already has a cool-down. While doing the yoga, I noticed that the poses
were getting difficult, which is why I didn't push myself beyond my limit. I listen to and feel my
body, so I will not harm it since I am still a beginner. Moreover, this yoga exercise still helps me
to relieve stress and get the relaxation I need after doing household chores. I'm happy with my
experience with this yoga exercise. After the yoga, I drank water because I used to drink water
after exercise.
