MEMORANDUM OF AGREEMENT

KNOW ALL MEN BY THESE PRESENTS:

This agreement made and entered into by and between:

K a aa COLLEGE, a training institution, with an office address at Mangagoy, Bislig

City, duly represented by its President, ABCDE FGHIJ KLMNO, hereinafter referred to
as the FIRST PARTY.

-And-

ABCDE FGHIJ KLMNO, the Senior High School Head of De La Salle John Bosco College
who is a resident of Poblacion, Bislig City, hereinafter referred to as the SECOND
PARTY.

WITNESSETH:

WHEREAS, the SECOND PARTY has expressed his intention to engage in a consultancy contract, as
AAA Consultant, with the City Government of AAA from February 1, 2023 – June 30, 2023;

WHEREAS, the SECOND PARTY is currently employed as full-time High School Head of AAA College;

WHEREAS, consultancy engagement of the SECOND PARTY is neither considered as full-time work
engagement nor as part-time employment;

WHEREAS, the FIRST PARTY voluntarily allows the SECOND PARTY to engage in a consultancy
contract with the City Government of AAAA provided that his duties and responsibilities as Senior
High School Head shall not be affected thereby;

NOW, THEREFORE, for and in consideration of the foregoing premises, the PARTIES hereby agree
as follows:

The FIRST PARTY hereby:

1. Allows and supports the FIRST PARTY to engage as AAAA Consultant and in carrying
out the services he is asked to render for such engagement for the period February 1,
2023 – June 30, 2023;

2. Permits the presence and attendance of the FIRST PARTY in occasions and meetings
relative to his engagement as consultant subject to the approval of his immediate head
and the exigency of his attendance.

The SECOND PARTY shall:

1. Maintain a highly satisfactory teaching and administrative performance in the duration

of his engagement as consultant;

2. Regard his full-time work in AAAA as his first priority without compromising the
performance of all his duties and responsibilities given to him;

3. Seek the permission from his immediate head whenever he leaves the campus within
the 8-hour regular school reporting for purposes relative to his consultancy;

4. Waive his compensation as part-time college instructor for the two teaching loads
equivalent to 8 hours per week for the second trimester to defray the 8-hours he shall
be out within the week for his consultancy engagement. Should there be no college
 courses to teach in the third trimester, his consultancy engagement happening outside
the campus shall be considered deducted absence;

5. Exercise with caution his engagement as consultant so as not to put the school’s
reputation in a bad light;

6. Seek the approval of the school should the FIRST PARTY wishes to renew his
consultancy services to the city subject to his performance appraisal report at the end of
the SY 2022-2023
