Eval.min 1 Communication from the Senior The Senior procurement officer welcomed members
Procurement Officer to the meeting and thanked them for attending, as
their presence would make it easy to finalize
procurement on time. Members were informed that
they had been approved by the 18th cc meeting.

He informed the member that there was need to

evaluate the bid that was brought before them and
that the evaluation should be ethically done following
the procurement laws and the technical aspect to
achieve value for money.
Eval.min 2 Election of the chairman & secretary The team agreed and an election was conducted, Faith
Atusinguza was chosen as the chairperson of the
evaluation team and Kyeyune Ronald as the secretary
to the evaluation team.
Eval.min 3 Preparation of the evaluation The Evaluation Methodology used was Technical
methodology tool Compliance. The members agreed that it should be
the methodology used to evaluate the bids as it was
stated in the solicitation document.
Eval.min 4 Evaluating of the bids The evaluation committee looked at the Bid document
that was presented before them critically and came
up with the evaluation report that Is attached with
the minutes.

one firm submitted its bid; Kims Logistics Ltd. The

cost that was evaluated included transportation to the
clients premises which is Lira since it had not been
cartered for in the initial costing
