I. OBJECTIVES
At the end of this lesson, students are expected to:
a. Learn about the history of basketball
b. Identify the rules of the game
c. Understand the basic rules, facilities, equipment, and safety concerns

D. Application
The class will be divided into 3 groups. Both groups will form a circle. Each of them will dribble
the ball 5 times; if one of them fails to dribble the ball, they will be eliminated from the game. The winning
team will receive 20 points.
E. Generalization
• Every game requires some basic rules to follow. Give at least 3 rules for playing basketball.
• What is the importance of playing basketball to your physical and mental health?
IV. EVALUATION
On the 1 whole sheet of paper, answer the essay type of questions. (50 points)
What do you think will be the health benefits of committing yourself to play basketball?
