ABSTRACT:
The purpose of this study is find the reasons behind the Children abuse which is now a days very

common in Pakistan due to several reasons, the main reason behind this study is to collect the

real data from different cities of Pakistan using qualitative based analysis. While using this

method a questionnaire is to be prepared in which each and every factor of child abuse will be

discussed. These common factors may be illiteracy, parents’ negligence, lake of awareness, fear

factor, political influence, early age job and hosteling of children in early age. As per research by

WHO children abuse and negligence faced by the children under the age of 18 years, includes

physical, sexual and emotional factors in their life. Many of cases have been reported in print

media regarding physical abuse, which causes temporary and permanent to the physical

functions of the children. This study will be useful that how we can cop up from this using latest

techniques and bringing awareness in children.

OBJECTIVES:

1. To identify child abuse media covering to seek ethical guidelines on child abused media
coverage.
2. How media does promote child abuse prevention awareness in tv programmes.
3. 3. To identify media resources information and educational materials.
4. To identify what are the media ways that you can spread awareness.

STATEMENT OF THE PROBLEM:

Through a systematic review of the media coverage of child protection issues over a period of

20 years, the actual and potential risks to children are highlighted, thus, providing a

methodological justification to use media coverage as a record of child protection problems.


Further, with its focus on the language and content of the coverage, shows how representation of

child protection issues in the media reflect the

existing reality on the one hand, and on the other may affect people’s perceptions

of these issues. Child protection is arguably one of the most highly contested areas of

public/social Child Protection is about “protecting every right of every child”. Pakistan is both

nationally and internationally committed to fully protect the rights of its children.

Q.2. What signs can journalists look out for that may indicate we need to be more careful during an interview?
