1. What is executive branch?

The executive branch of government is in charge of governing a state and exerting


authority therein. Laws are carried out and upheld by the executive.

- Executive power has a significant scope but unclear boundaries. It is the


general power to carry out all other aspects of government rather than the
specific power of establishing laws or arbitrating disputes.

1. X ran for president in 2004 elections and was proclaimed the President-elect. However,
before he assumed office at noon on 30 June he died of Hemorrhagic pancreatitis. Who will
replace the X, and Why?

2. If the President and the Vice president simultaneously died after taking the oath of office,
who will be qualified to replace them?

- Prior to the selection and qualification of a President or a Vice-President, the


President of the Senate or, in the event of his incapacity, the Speaker of the
House of Representatives shall preside.

Philippines?

● A natural-born citizen of the Philippine

● At least forty years of age on the day of the lection and
● A resident of the Philippine for at least ten years immediately proceeding such
