Why Influencers Are Essential

Influencers get the power to attract more people towards your products or


services.

Qualities of a Good Influencer

Authenticity, Likability, High engagement, Authority, Visibility, Persuasive,


Executer, Communicator, Competitor, Confidence, Leadership.
Awareness, Adaptability, Articulation

1. Influence is producing effect on the actions, behavior or opinion of


others.
2. Influence is the ability to have a positive impact on others.
3. Influencing is power to change, inspire or do something.
4. Influence is a Persuasive process; it does not happen at once. This
process includes building relationship, understanding the perspectives of
others and having clarity about what you want and what they want.
5. Influence is a product of trust, why should people trust you, what you
have done to earn their trust.
6. Influence is not about winning but it is about solving the problems.

Influence v/s Authority. Influencing without Authority


We can influence others without Authority.
Power is the person’s ability to influence others and there are 7 types of
power.
Influence at work place can happen directly or indirectly.
As per Law of reciprocity people should be paid back for what they do for
others.
Currency is the valuable that can be traded for something we want or need.
Influence is possible when you have something that others want.
Influence can be learned and practiced.
It is an art of give and take.
We should prepare in advance.
Influence is built over time and influencing occurs over time.

Practicing to influence others. Our Alkali dust disposal contractor creates


many problems while operating the bowser. Now with the use of these
learnings I have created good relationship with him and now he talks very
friendly and also suggests the remedies for the problems and also listen to me.
