- Supported the COE Orientations by personally advising 53 first year students, taking charge with walk-ins, and
assisting all students with the registration of classes.
- Utilized campus advising tools to connect with students and retrieve academic information essential to
developmental advising sessions.
- Developed and implemented a scholarship program for in-need COE students consisting of technology
trainings, virtual networking events, and Google Educator Certifications.

- Examined the current state of access to academic advising training and professional development opportunities
in order to implement assessment models on behalf of the COE as lead client.
- Collaborated with the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences and Academic Advising Center in order to gain a
broader perspective of resources for academic advisors at Northern Illinois University (NIU).
- Executed a benchmarking study to assess NIU’s ongoing training and professional development model for
academic advisors against NACADA standards and other comparable institutions.
- Implemented surveys and interviews to gauge the interest and accessibility of these opportunities to present
quantitative and qualitative data for the COE to develop a resource database for academic advisors.
BUSINESS INTERNSHIP EXPERIENCE
Global Mobility, Benefits Systems and Reporting HR Intern May 2019 – August 2019
ALDI Inc.
- Designed and managed the creation of an ALDI HR description video that communicated the goals and
capabilities of a relatively new HR department to current and future employees.
- Prepared a critical Request for Proposal (RFP) to procure a new vendor for conducting sensitive global
communications work that would better advocate for and prioritize ALDI employees.
- Executed vital and confidential benefits and payroll functions to ensure a smooth transition from an old to a
