I. Objectives:
At the end of the lesson, 85% of the students are able to:
a. Define pronoun;
b. Identify pronouns and it’s antecedents; and
c. Construct sentences using pronounce and antecedents.

C. Abstraction

Communication- is the process


of expressing and exchanging
information, thoughts, ideas,
and feelings. Since
communication is a process, it
involves a series of actions that
lead to a particular result such
as the passing on of a message
and an exchange of ideas,
among others.

Sender- The communication process


begins with sender, who is also called
the communicator or source. The
sender has some kind of information—a
command, request, or idea —that he or
she wants to share with others.

Message- The message or content


is the information that the sender
wants to relay to the receiver.
Channel/ Medium- the medium is
the means by which a message is
transmitted. Text messages, for
example, are transmitted through the
medium of cell phones.
Receiver- The person to whom a
message is directed is called the
receiver or the interpreter.
Feedback- The communication
process reaches its final point when the
message has been successfully
transmitted, received, and understood.

Communication Breakdown and Noise


A breakdown in communication
occurs when the message or the
feedback is not sent or received
properly at least in the way that the
sender intends or is not received by the
concerned party altogether.
Noise- is the technical term used to
refer to all the possible barriers to
effective communication. Noise may be
physical, psychological, physiological, or
semantic.
