1. Preparation, updating or revision of the Comprehensive Land use Plan (CLUP)
and other comprehensive development plans.
2. Culling out of programs and projects from the different sectoral plan which are of
local ownership and responsibility to be included in the Annual Investment Plan
(AIP).
3. Coordinating through public consultations, seminars, workshops, and other
modes of involving the different sector of the society in all stages of the planning
process.
4. Serving as the technical secretariat to the Local Development Council (LDC) and
other special bodies as assigned by the Mayor.

The Office of the Municipal Planning and Development Coordinator or MPDC is the
Research and the Planning arm of the Municipality of Malita. This Office absorbs the devolved
functions of the Housing and Land Use Regulatory Board (HLURB) in terms of Zoning and
Land Use planning, and Processing of Subdivision Approvals

SERVICES OFFERED CLIENTS

01. Issuance of Locational Applicants of Locational Clearance (LC) for building


Clearance (LC) permit, electrical permit or business permit purposes.
02. Securing Zoning Clearance for Anybody who wishes to apply for building/fencing permit
Building/Fencing Permit must secure first a Zoning/Locational Clearance.
03. Securing Zoning Permit Any person who would like to secure a Zoning
Purposes Certification on a property within the Municipality of
Malita must present the following
04.Securing Approval for Simple Simple Subdivision Project: Shall mean a subdivision
