 What is a Pronoun?

A Pronoun is a word that is used to replace a noun or another


pronoun called the antecedent.

 What is a Singular Possessive Pronouns?


 It shows who owns something.
 Mine, yours, his, and hers are examples of Singular Possessive
Nouns.
 What is a Plural Possessive Pronouns?
 It shows who or what owns something.
 Ours, yours and theirs are examples of Plural Possessive
Pronouns.

Pronouns should always agree with their antecedents in


number, person, and gender .

a. Number of Pronouns refers to their Singular ( one ) and


Plural ( many ) forms.

b. Person indicates if the pronoun refers to the Speaker ( first


person ) , the One you are talking to ( second person ) or
the One being talked about ( third person ).

c. Gender indicates whether the pronoun denotes the


Masculine ( Panlalaki ), Feminine ( Pambabae ) or the
Neuter ( Di- Tiyak ) gender.
