I. What Went Well?

This week I accomplished my first classroom observation for the first week. I am very
happy with the comments of my mentor. The given test this week also went well. My students
got perfect and passing score and that signifies that they already understood the discussion. It
is very overwhelming to the teacher that students learn from them.

II. What I learned?

Not to give tow topics in one day is what I learned this week. Students are not the
same. They don’t have the same mentality. There are fast learners and slow learners. Topics
should be given not in a rush way. Learning takes time and so teachers should teach with a
process. Making time to teach and learn is an effective way for a meaningful learning.

III. What would I do differently?

I used name picker app using color wheel is what I did differently this week. Using this
application is a great way to get the attention or interest of my students. They had enjoy as
well as excited as the color wheel starts spinning. It is very effective to introduce different way
of teaching strategies inorder for the students to continue love learning.

IV. My thoughts going forward…

To get something different, you must do something different. Doing differently for a
positive result is a big help for personal growth but doing differently inside the classroom will
reduce poor behavior and distractions. It will enhance student’s understanding and skill and
the different activities also serve to infuse fun into learning.
