My Field Study Experiences
(Little Flower School Incorporated)
When I started my first actual observation at Little Flower School Incorporated, I was
excited but at the same time nervous. The principal assigned me to a certain classroom and I
observed everything that was related to the students' learning process. Upon speaking to the
head of the school about observing, she assigned me to Ms. Arnado’s class, because she was
the most organized.

The other teacher arrived and escorted us to our assigned classroom in order for us to
see and meet our mentor. I was astounded by the variety of offices and facilities available. It
was my first time attending that particular school. Little Flower School Incorporated begins
their morning at 7:20 with the daily rosary, followed by flag raising and minor
announcements by the staff and facilitators.

After the morning routine, the class begin. I scribbled the observation in my notebook
and filled it with everything related to our target and goal. We are capable of establishing a
school environment that provides a social, psychological, and physical environment
conducive to learning. We spent nearly a week observing the school, and I noticed that
almost every grade level is now using smart TV’s and projectors. It aids in increasing student
engagement and productivity.

They are tough when it comes to enforcing school rules and regulations, on the other
hand. Students and faculty should wear their full uniforms. Wearing identification cards, as
well as bringing and using mobile phones, are strictly prohibited on school grounds. The
school security guard was assigned to check the students' bags to see if they had brought
phones or other unnecessary items that could endanger their peers and teachers.

A week with LFSI is an absolute blast. Why? because I am able to interact with
students from that school I also get to observe their methods of teaching and disciplining their
students. I can say that it was an ideal time to observe their school for a week because I got to
experience a feast day. It was a holly and awesome celebration of the section's patron saint. I
was also present at their UN summit, which was rescheduled due to the typhoon last
November 3rd. I can say that my one week there was exciting.
