I dedicate this Field Study to my parents and son, who are always been my source
of strength and inspiration. They are the main reason why I am here striving hard to
finish this work field. My parent’s sacrifices and my son’s innocence inspires me to
dream big and do the things that I think I am not capable of doing.
I also dedicate this Field Study to the future educators who'd also dreams to become
a teacher in the near future. I would also like to dedicate this to all the teacher's since they
provided me with valuable insights, experiences, and knowledge. Their mentorship has
helped me develop my skills and confidence, and has prepared me for my future career. I
also dedicate this Field Study to the elementary students from Payompon Elementary
because they serve as the most important piece of my Field Study journey, without them
there will be no field study that needs to be conducted.
Lastly, I dedicate this Field Study to myself, I am very proud to myself for taking
on the challenge of observing the school environment and participation in teaching
assistantship and for never giving up despite the challenges that I've encountered during

GENERAL INSIGHTS FOR FIELD STUDY 1 AND 2

My field study 1 and 2 journey at Payompon Elementary School was a great
experienced and worth to remember. It provided me a lot of knowledge by just observing
and helping my cooperating teacher. I also met a lot of people on my field study journey
and these people became an important piece in my preparation on becoming a future
educator someday. Field Study 1 and 2 made me open my eyes to the things that I haven't
see, It encourage me to improve my learning and become better with the help of my
experiences as a Pre-Service teacher. I learned how to communicate with my co-pre-
service teacher and to the school principal and teachers professionally because of good
approaches and pleasant supervision that they have showed me. This journey taught me
that there are many things I still need to learn, and those are the keys to overcoming the
obstacles that prevent me from reaching my goal of becoming a teacher in the near future.
Field Study 1 is about observing the Teaching-Learning in Actual School
Environment. It was the reason I became more aware of my surroundings, and being
aware helped me learn a lot of things. Observing taught me about the factors that should
be considered for the student's learning and development. Field Study 1 made me roamed
around the school to observe the school environment and to look for the available
facilities that will be beneficial for the teacher and students in teaching and learning
process. I also checked each building to see if the classrooms were properly ventilated
and lit. I discovered that the learning environment influences student learning, which is
why it is critical to ensure that the learning environment is safe. A safe environment in
which students feel accepted and where learning can take place. My observation journey
enables me to observe the actual teaching-learning process in the Grade VI-Neptune
classroom where I was assigned by the school principal. I witnessed how my cooperating
teacher used a variety of teaching strategies to meet the student's needs. Sir Joash
Sandino T. Alcaide used differentiated instructions for his diverse students to make sure
that no one of his students are left behind. Field Study 2 Participation and Teaching
Assistantship enables me to handle a different grade level class and it was a great
experienced and full of knowledge. I build a good relationship with the students and of
course to the teachers around me. It brings me to reality of what means to be a teacher.
Being a Pre-Service Teacher made me realized what teaching is all about, teaching need

to be taken seriously. It is very necessary that the things that you teach to your students is
aligned with the learning objectives and outcomes and of course appropriate to the
student's needs. My participation and teaching assistantship allowed me to observe how
the teacher interacts with his or her diverse learners and how to deal with problems that
arise. I also learned that every teacher should be curious about how students learn and
strive to improve their teaching skills. And, in order to achieve these goals, a teacher
must be observant enough to identify problematic situations in the classroom and conduct
action research, because I believe that every teaching-learning problem has a solution.
Field Study 1 and 2 were meaningful experiences for me because they allowed me
to see the beauty of each classroom management and the students' unique differences. I
learned how to be flexible enough about the workplace and school culture, which is a
win-win situation because these experiences will help me in my future career because I
will be able to work more easily. Field Study 1 and 2 are about molding a student like me
into a well-trained professional while I am still a student. This Field Study journey has
instilled many positive values in me. I learned to be accountable at all times. It also
shaped my personality because I met and became friends with the students, co-pre-
service teachers, and cooperating teachers to whom I was assigned. This field study is an
experience I will never forget and will always treasure. Finally, and most importantly, I
realized that a teacher is more than just someone who instructs students on how to
provide knowledge and perform their duties as teachers. A teacher is a true hero because
they help their students become the best versions of themselves.
