Teaching and Learning Activities:
1. Pre Lesson: Pupils talk about the quality of a good friend.
2. Lesson Delivery: Pupils listen to a song (Friends song) and sing the song. Pupils discuss the quality of a good friend mentioned in the
song with their group members. Pupils listen and circle the words said by the teacher in the provided worksheet. Pupils say the names of
their friends and write the names on the stars in the same worksheet. Pupils are introduced with a sentence structure: “When I have my
friends, I don’t……….” Based on the Friends song, pupils fill in 5 dialogue bubbles using the introduced sentence structure.
3. Post Lesson: Pupils write 12 sentences based on the names they have written.

1. Pre Lesson: Pupils arrange letters given to them and guess the topic of today’s lesson.
2. Lesson Delivery: Pupils discuss in their group on how to say thank you. Each group provides one way to say thank you. The
representative for each group writes it on the whiteboard. Random pupils are asked to paste flashcards on different ways to say
thank you on the whiteboard. Pupils look at the flashcards. Pupils identify which of the ways they have used to say thank you to
other people. Pupils make and decorate a flower foldable on different ways to say thank you.
3. Post Lesson: Pupils write and give thank you notes to 3 people.
