family saved.

Acts 23: 12-22conspiracy to kill Paul (40 men took vow to not eat or drink)

Acts 25: 24- 27, Acts 26: 1-32 Paul before Festus and King Agrippa

This reading takes minutes.

Specific questions:

Open ended questions:

1. Did anyone see any difference between what was on the video and what we read in the
Bible? (On the first and second class, tell the kids that this question is coming as we start the
video.)
2. What difference did you see in the same story covered by different Bible books? Which
Bible book did you like the best? Why?
3. What was the best thing you saw from either the video or the Bible reading?
4. In a lessons a few weeks, people in a meeting were saying that King Agrippa had the voice
of God and then he died. Well, here is King Agrippa again. What do you think is going on?
Often many kings will carry the same name as a former king
5. How could Paul love those who beat him and put him in jail just for teaching about Jesus?

The map below is Paul’s 1st Missionary journey. Paul had 3 more journeys but one gives the kids
the idea of where Paul went (Paul looped back covering most of the same locations on his
following journeys).

Names covered on earlier lesson:

Mary: mother of Jesus

Joseph: husband of Mary
Herod: evil local ruler who wanted to kill baby Jesus
John the Baptist
Matthew tax collector turned disciple
Gabriel
Andrew (Peter’s brother)
Peter
John
Nicodemus (local religious leader who came later helping prepare Jesus’ body for burial)
Lazarus
Mary
Martha
James
Mark
Barnabus
Luke

I now have my mom’s old flannel board that she used to bring a story alive. Unfortunately I did
not get to experiment with this in the class, but like footnote 1 above, it too would be great for
one-time use.
