The Greatest is the Least

Open with prayer.

Introduce and show the NEST video. Several reflections to time of Jesus as disciples find their
way.

Bible reading:

Acts 12: 1-2 Herod-Agrippa had James killed

Acts 12: 20-23 Herod-Agrippa died

Matthew 20: 20-28 Mother of James and John ask Jesus for special treatment of her sons

John 13: 2-10 At last supper Jesus washes disciples feet.

This reading takes 4 minutes.

Specific questions:

Open ended questions:

1. Did anyone see any difference between what was on the video and what we read in the
Bible? (On the first and second class, tell the kids that this question is coming as we start the
video.)
2. What difference did you see in the same story covered by different Bible books? Which
Bible book did you like the best? Why?
3. What was the best thing you saw from either the video or the Bible reading?
4. At last supper Jesus how is Jesus’ love for his disciples shown as He washes the disciples
feet? What can we do to be like Jesus?
