The NEP lays stress on the overall development of the learner profile which includes cognitive, analytical
and creative abilities. Major stress is on development of life skills which help to build thinking skills, social
skills and emotional skills of the learner to make him a confident and creative individual. Students are given
numerous opportunities throughout the year to develop their all round abilities. They are encouraged to
maintain a record of the same as well as evaluate themselves to ascertain their progress, strengths and
weaknesses. They are encouraged to share the same with teachers, parents and counsellor who can help
them guide about their progress on their chosen path.
Students are advised to maintain a log of their participation in various activities and assess the level of their
performance.
