Rizal is the national hero of the Philippines.

He was a hero when he sacrificed himself by going against

the injustices of the Spanish Government. He was the catalyst character, he caused the Filipinos to
move or to do some kind of action that change the minds of the Filipinos to start a revolution. And he
did this by writing, based on google, his contributions was Political writings that inspired the
revolutions that led to his execution by the Spanish colonizers.
These ideas and works he did are still relevant till today. It was discussed by the teacher that
one of the few reasons it is important to study him is to preserve the history of the Philippines and
values of the Filipinos. By studying his works and his story we will be able to remember our roots and
the roots of the country.
And so it really is important to know who Dr. Jose Rizal is not just because it is required by the
school and is mandated by government but to also know how the Philippines came to be. By knowing
where we came from and what are the lessons of the past, I believe we will be able to open the
possibilities of a greater future.

Upholding the rule of law is a noble cause. The thing I can do to uphold the rule of law is to simply
follow it myself and avoid doing otherwise. By following the rule of law I myself will become an
example to others and will not witness the consequences of eradicating the rule of law.
When the rule of law is eradicated it will caused disturbance . One of the purposes of rule of
law (ayon kay google) is ensure human rights as well as property, contract, and procedural rights. So,
if someone will eradicate the rule of law with the intention of not doing good it certainly will cause
chaos or disorder. And there might be consequences from this disorder that the eradicator itself will
not like.
The importance of a democratic society is for the people to be free, to gain respect from each
other, and gain their equal rights to make their own choices. Equally valuing all people and supporting
each other to the full potential. However, there must be rule of law to supervise t

Both places does not that much differ on the concept of a hero. Which is being able to save
somebody by sacrificing himself or by its divine abilities. But the distinction of a concept of a western
hero is mostly famously seen in fictional characters or movies. Heroes are depicted of extraordinary
character and of extraordinary abilities which he can use in saving others.
While Filipino concept is much of a simple character. In early Filipinos they were just normal
warrior in the community. They only satisfy the basic needs of the people who yearns for it. And a
bayani does not work alone he exerts efforts together with his comrade. It gives its service without
counting the cost. That is in early concept of a bayani. But now still the meaning of a bayani is still a
person of selfless act and yearns for a good consequence. It now shows on different kinds of people
famously given to OFW.
So, the concept of a hero between Western and Filipino just differs on specification. But mainly
all heroes acts when somebody is being bullied by a more bigger entity. All heroes are seen when life
is tough. And they are there when we need them.

Jose Rizal is a primary weapon to dictate the identity of the Filipino people. The contributions of Dr.
Jose Rizal to nation-building stems from the different aspects. One is in the youth, from the life
lessons, history, and works of Rizal. Filipinos expect their children or the youth to be like Rizal. How he
loves the country and how smart he is. This is so that the next generation of young people will get the
same idea of nationalism as Rizal. Rizal displayed how to love a country by sacrificing himself. And
hopefully the youth will have the same level of willpower to hone a nation that can withstand any
challenges.
Another is in his works and values. The values of the early Filipinos are what Rizal has so the
Filipinos in the present want these values to be practice today. To create a nation that is rich in virtues
and values similar to Rizal. In this way, making the nation build itself into a nation that has tenacity
and perseverance.
