Week: 1
MELC/s: Poses real-life problems that can be solved by Statistics. (M7SP-IVa-2)
Performance Standard: The learner is able to collect and organize data systematically and compute accurately measures of central
tendency and variability and apply these appropriately in data analysis and interpretation in different fields.
Mode of Delivery: Blended Learning (Model A - 2 Days In, 3 Days Out )
Day Objectives Topic/s Classroom-based Activities Home-Based Activities

the learners to analyze the content to learn
more about the topic and answer the given
guide questions.
D. Developing Mastery (Explain)
Present the guide questions to the learners
and give them enough time to analyze the
set of questions and answers.

Ask somebody from the class to read the set

of questions presented in Tables A and B
and let the learners explain the difference
between statistical and non-statistical
questions and give some examples, if
possible.

In addition, define and give examples of

statistical questions that are categorical or
numerical.

E. Application and Generalization

(Elaborate)
Let the learners answer exercises on
determining whether the question is
statistical or not.

Ask them to construct at least 3 statistical

questions (via Mentimeter or by group)
that can be answered by collecting data
from the class.
F. Evaluation
Ask the learners to answer “What I Can Do”

Create a Frayer Model on Statistical
Question
A Frayer model is a graphic organizer that
helps learners build their vocabulary in a
visual way. It consists of 5 different parts:
(1) vocabulary word, (2) definition, (3)
facts/characteristics, (4) examples, and (5)
non-examples.
