Narrative Report on Oplan Reading Recovery Program (ReReCo)

Reading is one of the biggest problems not only at Paaralang Elementarya ng


Buhaynasapa but almost all over the District of San Juan West District, San Juan
Batangas. With this the said school conducted a Program that will help ease the
problem with regards to reading entitled “Oplan Reading Recovery Program
(ReReCo)”.
Teachers assessed and analyzed reading abilities of each learners and group
them according to their reading level. Learners who fall in the frustration level
undergo reading remediation program before leaving school in the afternoon.
Learners who undergo reading remediation was permitted by their parents to
join the said program for their child to develop their reding ability but not all parents
allowed their child to attend the said program because of the distance of their home
to school and others just don’t want their child to attend the said program in which
teachers adjusted their time to those who cannot attend in the afternoon
remediation.
Reading remediation among learners is still in progress and hoping to have a
fruitful output for the learners to benefit.

Narrative Report on SPG KKK (Sa Pagbasang Gawain Kami’y Kaagapay
at Kasangga) Project

Supreme Pupil Government (SPG) is an organization in school which learners


from school elected officers that will lead them throughout the school year but it’s
not only leading the learners but also guiding their peers in good path. With this
Paaralang Elementarya ng Buhaynasapa’s SPG Officers conducted a project the will
help other learners who are having trouble in reading. This project was a whole year
round project to make sure that learners will have enough time to learn how to read
and enjoy reading.
SPG KKK or Sa Pagbasang Gawain Kami’y Kaagapay at Kasangga Project is a
project conducted by the SPG Officers in which they gave time and effort to other
learners like them who struggles in reading. They teach their peers in pairs at they
patiently teach them how to read according to their needs.
They ensure that learners having difficulty in reading will have time in reading
everyday wherein they gather them in school pergola every lunch break and they
make sure that they will have time for reading and they teach them how to read
patiently.

Narrative Report on Conducting Meeting for Students who will Undergo
Reading Remediation

Parents is a big factor that affect the reading ability of each learners. They are
also the one who can help educators to succeed in their goal of teaching learners not
only to read but to comprehend as well.
After assessing and analyzing learners’ level in reading, Paaralang Elementarya
ng Buhaynasapa Teaching Force conducted parent’s meeting to those learners who
will undergo reading remediation.
Teachers whole heartedly explain how their child or learners will benefit from
the said program and how it will be productive. Some of the parents came to attend
the meeting but others did not for different reasons. For the parents who did not
come teachers conducted home visit for the parents to be informed with the said
program.
Parents of learners having difficulties in reading support the program but not
100% because some parents refused their child to attend the said program with their
personal reasons.
