I. OBJECTIVES
A. Content Standards
The learner demonstrates understanding of how Anglo-American literature and other
text types serve as means of preserving unchanging values in changing world; also,
know how to use the features of full-length play, tense consistency, modals, active
and passive constructions plus direct and indirect speech to enable him/her
competently performs in a full-length play.
B. Performance Standards The learners demonstrate communicative competence through his/her
understanding of literature and other types for a deeper appreciation of Philippine
culture and other types of how other countries.
C. Learning Competencies
The learners shall be able to analyze literature as a means of valuing other people
and their various circumstances in life.

Specific Objectives At the end of the session, learners are expected to:
1. analyze the literary elements of poetry;
2. explain the importance of the poem for the Filipino citizen; and
3. identify the moral of the poem and know its application on a daily basis.
II. CONTENT
INTRODUCTION
A. Review of the Previous Lesson or Before the lesson proper, the students will be given an activity entitled “E-Picture
Presenting the New Lesson Me Perfect”
This activity will be conducted in groupings. In this activity, the students will be
divided into five groups. After dividing the class randomly, the teachers will
group them into five (5) wherein each student will be transferred into their
respective group.
B. Establishing a Purpose for the

Zulueta addressed the poem “Like the Molave '' to Rizal, because he
believes that he likes Rizal should not be resting yet because our
country still needs him to achieve our development.
