To enhance the students understanding skills about articles in a good way.

Methodology:

(a) Prior Knowledge: (Recap, Brainstorming, Mind Mapping, etc.)

The teacher will recall the poem again and ask some questions like:

1: What do you understand about the poem? Describe in your own way.

2: How do monkeys move from one branch to another?

3: What do tigers do when it is dark?

After getting possible responses from the students the teacher will announce the topic that
today we are going to learn about articles. For this we will complete Exc. C in the class.

(b) Explanation: (Based on Cross-Curricular Links)

The teacher will tell the students about different animals present in the poem. What do animals
look like? How is a bear different from an elephant? The teacher will give simple description
about animals. She will also tell them that which animal is taller, which is faster or which is more
dangerous. She will also explain the movement of the animals like jumping, leaping, playing,
skipping, dancing, hunting, lying and prowling as well. So, they would be able to understand the
poem in a proper way.

(c) Activity: The teacher will make groups in the class and ask the students to read the
poem and find the movement of animals described in the poem. Then the students will tell

about different movements in the class one by one.

(d) Wrap-up: It will be done through above mentioned activity.
