*QUESTION 2: THE LOOKING-GLASS SELF:  A LESSON OF SELF AWARENESS

Before when I was in high school, I honestly didn't like other people staring or
even looking at me, maybe because I felt insecure about myself at that time that is why I
am very scared of other people's judgement about how I look. I have had so many
insecurities before like my nose, my face shape, my cheeks, my weight, my body
shape, and my hair. I hate everything about my appearance. I always think that they are
just staring at me because I'm ugly I look horrible and I'm really scared of other people's
attention. I don't want them to see me as that person ugly, I don't want to be judged.
Because I experienced bullying when I was in first year in high school, my classmates
don't want me to be part of their group work. Maybe because I look ugly and fat, their
judgmental eyes don't lie. I am being judged when I pass them. But now I think I would
say that I feel gorgeous when other people stare at me because I am confident that the
appearance that they look before no longer exists in this world. I loved myself and I feel
gorgeous now. I accept my flaws and I don't have to overthink more that they might
judge my looks. Today, I know to myself now that I am gorgeous because that is what I
believe when people stare at me. I don't feel insecure anymore because I look pleasant
now unlike before. I hated myself because of what I imagined of how I look or about my
appearance.
*QUESTION 3: How is myself, shaped and influenced by culture? EXPLAIN FURTHER.

We are not alone. Despite how chaotic it is, we live in a society. We define
ourselves through the groups we belong to, we live in them, and in some ways, we even
belong to them. Culture has a major role in shaping and influencing our Identity on how
we talk, wear, say, how we think, lifestyle choices, and how we view ourselves and
other people is because of culture. According to Anastasiya O. Russia " culture is
something unites people" people share the same values and beliefs depending on the
type of culture one was raised in; the effect could be either positive or negative. Culture
is something about how we think, feel, act or behave in a society. It is crucial for people
to understand and value their culture and the role it played in developing their unique
identities.
