Basics of a Student Learner’s Portfolio

Folder 1: ENGLISH ELT 2021 – 23

Subfolders: To be created within the main folder. Later, this has to be converted to Google Sites/
Google Drive. Add more folders or organise according to your needs and requirements. This is just an
exemplar.

Paper 1: Make the following Sub folders:

 General Information: Aims, Objectives, Weightage Assessment objectives and details

 Exam information: Marks Scheme, Principal Examiner’s comments, sample questions and
answers
 Text types: 20 - 22 different text types (Create folder for each)
 My research: Theory, Intertextuality, Other reading materials
 Classwork: Board work according to the topic, assignments, feedback
 Google Classroom Materials: Download all materials related to Paper 1 and arrange neatly
 Worksheets and reflection sheets
 Your Own To Do list

Paper 2: Make the following Sub folders:

 General Information: Aims, Objectives, Weightage Assessment objectives and details

 Exam information: Marks Scheme, Principal Examiner’s comments, sample questions and
answers
 Texts: 2 - 3 different texts you are studying for paper 2 (Create folder for each)
 My research: Theory, Intertextuality, Background research, Other reading materials
 Classwork: Board work according to the text/topic, assignments, feedback
 Google Classroom Materials: Download all materials related to each text and arrange neatly
 Worksheets and reflection sheets
 Your Own To Do list

Individual Oral: Make the following Sub folders:

 General Information: Aims, Objectives, Weightage Assessment objectives and details

 Exam information: Marks Scheme, Principal Examiner’s comments, sample IO’s and marking
scheme
 Literary Texts: 2 literary texts that you will use for the IO (Create folder for each)
 Non Literary Texts: Combination of Non Lit texts to be studied and paired for the IO
 My research: Theory, Intertextuality, Background research, Other reading materials
 Global Issues and Attributes: how to use them?
 Classwork: Board work according to the text/topic, assignments, feedback, Mocks
 Google Classroom Materials: Download all materials related to the IO and arrange neatly
 Worksheets and reflection sheets
 Phase 1 and Phase 2 for mocks and finals = IO Drafts
 Description of Stimuli and Outline Form Samples and Original
 Your Own To Do list
