Reflection

Smart University Giga Careers program was launched by Smart Communication, Inc. (SMART)

to help students to realize their passion and purpose after graduation. This aims to serve as a

stepping-stone for the students to choose wisely in preparing for their future. As of yesterday’s

event, a webinar was held with the students of Guagua National Colleges. It is entitled “Light

your Passion, Fulfill your Vision”, which discusses what path will you take. Moreover, the

webinar was guested by the individuals who fought so hard in life to achieve success. In life, we

experience hardships, struggles, or challenges that we may or may not overcome. Just like what

Dr. Sarmiento said that “Failure is a part of our life. If we fail…we go back and try again.” it

also means that trials and rejections are part of success. Afterward, the achievements that we’ll

be receiving are worth it, the hardships are paid off. This made me realized how life is full of

surprises, so just keep on moving forward. It is really heartwarming to hear the inspirational

background story of each individual who keeps on encouraging us. As Ms. Evangeline stated

that, let our passion drive our profession. It is also important that we love what we’re doing,

which makes us more passionate. The webinar was a good idea for us, students, who are still

confused about what should we take.
