At the end of the lesson, the learners are expected to:
1. Identify the texture of actual and implied objects
2. Demonstrate the texture through drawing
3. Develop awareness of texture of object found in the environment
ENGAGE
 Teacher will show different objects.
 Teacher will ask the following question.
 What is the first object?
 Now examine the one that I’m holding.
 What is the second object?
 Now tell me what you have noticed.
 What are the things God created?
 What do you think is the reason of showing you the video?
EXPLORE
1. Each learner will name the objects in the video.
2. Teacher will show the checklist.
3. The learners will complete the checklist by answering YES or NO.
4. They will then exchange output with other learners.

EXPLAIN
 What are the characteristics of living things? What are the characteristics of nonliving
things?
 Learners will classify each item as either living or non-living.

Living Things Nonliving Things

 After answering the table, students will be asked to answer this question….
 What are the differences between living things and nonliving things? Students will group
the object in the table below
 What living things are made of?
 What do living things need?

Teacher will show a picture. Then the pupils will identify 5 living things and 5 nonliving
things that can be found in the image shown.
