These are the dates to be used for Pre paration and Foundation Pujana/ Shila Niyasa.

Muhurtha and Stages of Construction

(1) Bhugarbha Vinyasa means laying the foundation stone. –Date Given

(2) Digging the water body like well or underground water tank.

(3) Beginning of boundary wall.

(4) Plinth or casting of the floor.

(5) Fixing of main gate and main door.

(6) Grihapravesham- Formal entry into the home with Poojan and homa. Need Proper Muhurat
for this.

(7) Point 2 to 5 – Pick any Auspicious day with good yoga, Shukla paksha, If possible mercury or
Jupiter in lagna /no rahu kala.
 (8) Rahu kala – Take care of Rahu Kala ,the time mention under Rahu kaal should not be used to
begin any further event while constructing the house .
