Sub: Prepone of summer vacation due to heat wave situation-regarding
Madam/Sir,
In inviting a reference to the subject cited above, you are hereby informed that
all schools under the Administrative control of this Deptt are hereby closed with
immediate effect from 21-04-2023 due to continuing heat wave situation till
scheduled reopening of the schools after summer vacation as communicated vide
this Deptt Notification No.219/04-01-2023. However, the hostels and students' mess
will remain functioning at least for seven days or until the last boarder leaves the
hostel for convenience of the parents to take their children home safely. The parents
should be informed accordingly. The teaching and non-teaching staff shall attend the
school and hostel as usual till commencement of the scheduled summer vacation as

communicated vide this Deptt Notification as mentioned above.

You are, therefore, requested to take suitable steps at district level for safe
reaching of the boarder students to their home.

Department

Due to continuing heat wave situation, all schools functioning under the
Administrative control of ST&SC Development, Minorities & Backward
Classes Welfare Department are closed with effect from 21-04-2023. Further,
allparents to be informed accordingly.
The hostels and students' mess shall remain functioning till 27" April 2023 or
until the last boarder leaves the hostel to his/her home. This will also be
applicable to the hostels of ST&SC Dev. Deptt. functioning in the schools of
S&ME Dept.
