Mr. Poposki:

You have requested that Publix Supermarkets, Inc. prepare a letter regarding the structure for Publix
Store No. 740 located on Fort Myers Beach, FL. This request is to confirm that the integrity of the
structure was not affected by Hurricane Ian at the end of September 2022. The area that this store is
locate was affected by both hurricane force winds and storm surge from Hurricane Ian.

I, Cathy Tiedge, PE, performed a visual observation of the structure on October 20, 2022. Based on the visual
inspection the structure is in good condition and there was no evidence of any structural distress. There are
some architectural exterior items requiring repair that do not affect the structure. Attached are pictures taken
during the site visit on October 20, 2022 reflecting the condition of the structure for reference.

Based on the site visit performed on October 20, 2022:

1. The integrity of the structure has not been affected by hurricane force winds or storm surge from
Hurricane Ian.
2. The structure is currently in a condition to securely withstand the weight of its anticipated loads.
3. The structure will continue to perform safely as intended for the foreseeable future.
