Reference to the above subject , we are hereby have NO OBJECTION for your proposed work subject to the following
conditions and attached Drawings / Documents.
General Conditions :
G1 . NOC is issued for Landscaping work within plot limit only. Separate NOC to be obtained for Irrigation / power supply
work.
G2 . DEWA approved NOC documents to be downloaded from DEWA Infrastructure NOC Customer Portal at https://
crm.dewa.gov.ae/irj/portal/anonymous
G3 . No Trees/Long Planting to be installed over existing DEWA ED & WD services / corridors. Otherwise, the same have
to be relocated on client cost.
G4 . During any emergency maintenance work DEWA will not be responsible for reinstatement of the landscaping etc.
G5 . Trees pit to be installed minimum 4.0 M away from existing DEWA Electrical/Water services / corridors.
G6 . Existing ground level not to be raised / lowered more than 30 cm.
G7 . No Heavy Vehicles / Equipment movement / Parking / Material storage are permitted over existing DEWA-
Electrical/Water services / corridors and Valve Chambers.
G8 . DEWA reserves all the rights to lay future services in DEWA Electrical/Water corridor, reinstatement for the
landscaping to be carried out by concerned party.
G9 . Contractor to ensure the implementation of all precautionary measures to ensure safety and integrity of existing
DEWA services within the project limits. Damage to any existing Services/Plant/Structure/SCADA system/ Control
Unit and RTU due to the proposed work, will be charged against contractor as per DEWA regulations.
G10 . All DEWA NOC conditions should be maintained and any violation; NOC will be suspended and action will be taken as
per Law (6)/2015 of Dubai Government.
G11 . Completion certificate to be obtained from DEWA within one month from the date of completion of Project.
G12 . Access to DEWA Corridors/Sub-Stations/Plants should not be blocked by the proposed work at all time until/unless
approved by DEWA. In case existing access is affected, an alternative access with proper direction signs to be provided
without any financial cost to DEWA.

E1 . Work intimation request (duly filled by Client/Consultant & Contractor) to be forwarded 2 days in advance on
patrolling.dm@dewa.gov.ae (Contact numbers 04-322-7496, 04-322-7533) along with location map enabling Dist-
Maintenance staff to visit the site and assist the Contractors in locating & protecting DEWA-HV services.
E2 . DEWA -Distribution Maintenance site staff will inspect the site for the existing cable protection and availability of
work permit and NOC copy at site.
E3 . Distribution Maint. Cable sign board showing depth & numbers to be placed along the cable route (Please refer
attached copy Size A3 Laminated).
E4 . Weekly work program to be forwarded (along with Location map & contact Name and Numbers) to us every
Wednesday. For any new planned work intimation to be forwarded at least 2 working days in advance.
E5 . If any cable found at site which is not shown in the GIS or in the submitted drawing and affecting by the proposed
work, will be treated as per DEWA procedure or as per our site inspector instruction.
E6 . Only manual excavation is allowed close to the cables with hand shovel (or with flat side of the pickaxe if required.)
E7 . Regarding existing HV services, all necessary safety and protection measures to be taken at site in co-ordination with
DEWA inspector at site.
E8 . Plantation of shrubs and trees should not be done over the existing HV cables and HV corridors as shown in the
revised drawings.
E9 . Clearance between trees and cables should be maintained as shown in the revised drawings.
E10 . 11KV corridor can be either soft landscape (grass, bushes, small plants etc.) or standard interlocked tiles without
concrete, separate NOC should be obtained for installation of any kind of decorative tiles.
E11 . Plantation of trees next to DEWA-ED corridors should be protected by providing root barriers at the edge of corridor
to block root encroachment.
E12 . Note: NOC subject to undertaking letter from the client Dubai Holding for Emergency Maintenance work Ref: DHRE/
DEWA/DH-0008/MG/L/5885/2023/vi Dated 26th June 2023.

E20 . 24 x 7 full time access to be provided to DEWA for maintenance / patrolling / new cable laying / etc... Within DEWA
reservation corridor.
E21 . Access to DEWA cable Corridors / substation should not be blocked by the proposed work.
E22 . In case of emergency for rectification & repair of the existing 132kV cables / routine maintenance , the landscaping to
be removed and 132kV cables area to be reinstated in the original position with immediate effect , upon request of
DEWA at any time and all reinstatement work ( removal & reinstatement) will be carried out by the client
E23 . Existing 132kV link box ground level not change during the works. (Proposed finished level should be match with
existing link box foundation/door level) (if any)
E24 . No any Trees are allowed within the 5.0mtr vicinity of existing 132 kv cable route.
E25 . 132kV cable route marker to be replaced /re-instated in the same position (visible) / place after completion of work.
E26 . Existing 132kV cable pole markers (if any) to be replaced with flush markers in the same area and confirm with TLP
staff.
E27 . Access to existing 132kV cable joint location should be confirmed with DEWA TLP staff before / after completion of
the work on site.
E28 . For Irrigation line work within the vicinity of Existing 132 kv cable route, a separate NOC to be Obtained.
E29 . NOC issued based on the existing transmission lines (400/132kV cable & OHL) clearances. If any other services /
utilities in this proposed working area, concerned department approval/NOC to be obtained.

E32 . Access to the DEWA cable & corridor / substation should not be blocked by the proposed work.

reservation corridor.
E34 . Parallel & vertical clearances from the existing 32kV cables to proposed work as shown on the drawing should be
strictly followed and confirmed with TLP staff before starting the work.
E35 . If any new transmission lines (400/132 kV cables / OHL) are energized in this proposed working area before
completion of the work, a separate NOC to be obtained for the affected area.
E36 . No any heavy vehicles & equipment movements / storage of material / Parking / excavated Soil are permitted over
the existing 132kV cables.
E37 . All clearance / comments shown in the drawing shall be maintained.
E38 . After completion of the work, the area to be reinstated in the original position and the same to be confirmed with
DEWA TLP staff.
E39 . For any other work and other locations, a separate NOC to be obtained.
E40 . Machinery conditions.
E41 . Only Manual Excavation permitted within 2.0 mtr. Horizontal clearance from existing 132kV cable trough, duct bank
and 5.0 mtr. Horizontal clearance from the existing 132kV cable joints / link box / HDD / FO cable.
E42 . Protection conditions
E43 . The nearest/ affected existing 132kV cable should be identified and confirmed with trial pit in the presence of DEWA-
TLP staff. After confirming the existing 132kV cables depth/alignment, the area should be protected/barricaded
along with a caution signboard as per DEWA requirements and site conditions before starting work on site.
E44 . Proposed work should be carried out with extreme care without any heavy vibration.
E45 . If any construction vehicle/equipment require to cross existing 132kv cable at unmade area, crossing area to be
protected with suitable protection slab/steel sheet with extra sand fill/road base (ramp to be provided), in presence of
TLP staff before starting the vehicle/equipment/ machinery crossing.

E46 . Contractor to ensure the implementation of all precautionary measures to ensure safety and integrity of existing
transmission lines within the project limits. Damage to any existing transmission lines due to the proposed work, will
be charged against a contractor as per DEWA regulations.
E47 . All existing HV/LV cables to be lowered/raised to 0.9 M from the proposed ground level without any financial cost to
DEWA.
E48 . Cable joints locations to be avoided from the Landscaping and Irrigation lines.
E49 . Link box areas to be protected from the Landscaping and Water accumulation from the Irrigation lines / sprayers /
sprinkler.
Water Conditions :
W1 . Provide adequate safety measures to avoid any damages to existing water lines along the activity area from
movements of machinery / vehicles etc.
W2 . • Contractor has to take all precautionary measures for deep excavation and lose ground strata. Consultant /
contractor are fully responsible to take all precautions to ensure utmost safety of DEWA pipelines. Any damages and/
or losses due to damages will be subject to penalty in addition to recovery of compensation, with respect to direct or
indirect losses of material/property/personnel, etc.
W3 . • Corridor reserved for water lines shall be left free of other services incase such services are found above/ laid in
DEWA water corridor without our prior approval the same shall be relocated at your cost.
W4 . • Separate NOC shall be obtained for crossing the existing / proposed water line with sufficient vertical clearances and
protection details along with method statement.
W5 . • Horizontal clearance of 1.50 m from the water pipeline up to 450 mm dia and 4.00 m from water pipeline greater
than 450 mm dia with other services shall be provided, while a minimum vertical clearance of 0.5m below the water
pipeline up to 450 mm dia and 2.00m below water pipeline greater than 450 mm dia with other services.
W6 . • Existing valve chambers should be accessible at all times and should not be buried during construction activity.
Existing valve/ meter chambers are to be relocated or raised/lowered as per the proposed final level and offsets.
W7 . • M/S client/consultant/contractor should guarantee the access for DEWA to carryout maintenance on pipeline, in
case of any damage to existing water line DEWA will repair the pipe line and M/S. client/consultant/contractor should
reinstate the road/parking/ other services without any reinstatement cost to DEWA.

W8 . • 24/7 access will be provided to DEWA WD reservation to carryout emergency maintenance / repair / proposed work
for DEWA WD services without prior notice .
W9 . • No machinery allowed over DEWA WD pipe line / corridor
W10 . • Manual excavation is only allowed above / near water network & corridor .
W11 . • For Machinery : Horizontal clearance of 4.00 m from the water pipeline shall be provided .
W12 . • Pipeline with inadequate cover shall be relocated at proper depth in the appropriate corridor as diversion work
(Minimum cover to be maintained 1.20m for pipes up to 450mm dia & 1.50m for pipes above 450mm dia ).
W13 . • All the diversion and protection works should be carried out without any financial cost recharged to DEWA. No
rechargeable development betterment works shall be carried out without obtaining written approval from W-P&E
dept. prior to commencement of work.
W14 . • All the water scada system /control unit/RTU should be protected as per DEWA water standard & specifications,
and separate approval shall be obtained.
W15 . • No Barriers ( concrete / plastic ) / bollard / Embankment work are allowed over DEWA WD pipe line / corridor
W16 . • No trees/ shrubs /hedges/pots / water feature / curb edges / curb stone /heal curbs /landscape furniture / etc are
allowed over the existing Water networks / Water corridor.
W17 . • The landscaping contractor should not carry out any massive excessive cutting/filling over the water networks
reservation, and allowable cutting and filling should not be more than 0.50m.
W18 . • DEWA reserve rights to excavate the landscaped area over water networks for any emergency work.
W19 . • Reinstatement of landscaping under the above mentioned circumstances shall be carried out by the Client/
Consultant/Contractor without recharging any cost to DEWA.
W20 . • provide a root barrier ( Mandatory ) if the horizontal clearance from existing water line is less than 1.50m
W21 . • No sand dunes / raising ground on water corridor or water network.
