Soal 1
Berdasarkan kutipan teks di bawah ini, silahkan identifikasi noun, adjective dan verb masing-masing
sebanyak 5 buah yang telah diberi garis bawah pada teks berikut
1. Communication And Collaboration
The (1)biggest advantage of social media is (2)better communication. A student can (3)connect with
anyone at any point in time via Kids Messenger or WhatsApp. They can use such (4)platforms via
their smartphone, tablet or computer, and learners can exchange (5)questions, make phone calls or
video calls. If a student is (6) stuck with their homework, they can always (7)communicate with
their friends or tutors. They don’t need to wait and meet the teacher physically. Social media promote
learning by offering support with sharing documents as well such as via Google Drive Box, Google
Docs. Some teachers even connect with their class via Facebook live, as this American teacher does
by reading bedtime (8) stories to her students every evening.
2. Finding Concrete Information Online
Various websites and social media (9)networks are providing plenty of information that can be
(10)helpful to students. Via social media news feeds, students can find informational and (11)
relevant websites they want to (12)follow so as to be kept in the loop. (13)Depending on their
interests, students can find answers to their questions. Sites, such as Tumbler and Pinterest, can
(14)offer children inspirations for school projects or (15)practical problem-solving.

Soal 2
Identifikasi kata-kata yang digarisbawahi dengan Pronouns yang tepat disertai fungsinya (pronouns
as subject atau pronouns as object. Contoh: (1)the top global priority = It (Pronoun as subject)
Unhelpful and dangerous
At a time when (1)the top global priority should be to organize a comprehensive coordinated
response to the dual health and economic crises unleashed by (2)the coronavirus, (3)this blame game
is not just unhelpful but dangerous. Globally and at the country level, (4)we all desperately need to
do everything possible to accelerate the development of a safe and effective vaccine, while in the
meantime stepping up collective efforts to deploy the diagnostic and therapeutic tools necessary to
keep the health crisis under control. Given there is no other global health organization with the
capacity to confront the pandemic, the (5)WHO will remain at the center of the response, whether
(6)certain political leaders like (7)it or not. Having dealt with the WHO to a modest degree during
my time as chairman of the UK’s independent Review on Antimicrobial Resistance (AMR), (8)I can
say that (9)it is similar to most large, bureaucratic international organizations. Like the International
Monetary Fund (IMF), the World Bank, and the United Nations,(10) it is not especially dynamic or
inclined to think outside the box. But rather than sniping at these organizations from the sidelines,
(11)we should be working to improve (12)them. In the current crisis, we all should be doing
(13)everything we can to help both (14)the WHO and the IMF to play an effective, leading role in the
global response. As I have argued before, (15)the IMF should expand (16)the scope of its annual
assessments to include national public-health systems, given that these are critical determinants in a
country’s ability to prevent or at least manage a crisis like the one we are now experiencing. I have
even raised this idea with IMF officials themselves, only to be told that such reporting falls outside
their remit because (17)they lack (18)the relevant expertise. (19)That answer was not good enough
then, and (20)it definitely isn’t good enough now.
