I am writing to express my interest in the World bank internship position posted on

the world bank website. I am currently enrolled as a master’s degree student at

Ahmadu Bello University Zaria, and I will graduate this year with a master’s
degree in Public Health. I am aware of World Bank excellent reputation in the
career placement industry and believe the company’s values align perfectly with
my career goals.

After my bachelor’s degree, I worked as program assistant to the GFHIV program

in Society for Family Health. This internship provided me with valuable insights
into the administrative areas, especially in terms of how to Multi task, I also learnt
how to write report, organize advocacy visit, conduct HIV test and provide
commodities to Implementing communities. The opportunity provided me with
valuable hands on experience and confirmed that my personality, skills and
abilities are well suited for my career choice.

I graduated with a CGPA of 3.8 in my Bachelors degree and I Aim to graduate with
distinctions in my Master’s program. My program of study is heavily focused on
Epidemiology. I possess strong written and verbal skills as well as excellent
organizational skills. I am a people person and have worked hard to develop a good
understanding of human motivation. I believe the ability to interpret body language
is vital to this industry.. I am dedicated, energetic and enthusiastic. I place a high
value on quality and I thrive in team environments.
